Our Approach

I, Jacqui Ziebart consider counseling a “we” approach: we are not meant to walk alone in this life; we are called to bear each others burdens; and, we are made to experience the rhythm of engagement to exhort one another with tender hearts in covenant allegiance.

Fortitude Counseling was founded by faith to assist our community to experience personal revival and direction through Biblical and experiential counseling, in cooperation with the Holy Spirit. All people are made in the image of God, therefore people cannot truly know themselves without knowing God.

We counsel from our professional background and our own relationship with Christ: listening and walking alongside of you in your struggle with encouragement and understanding. We provide a safe haven and even better, a compassionate listening ear. We watch the Lord reveal Himself to you through His Word, his Holy Spirit as we engage together, orientating our way to Truth.

“Deep calls to deep at the roar of your waterfalls; all your breakers and your waves have gone over me.”

Psalms 42:7

From Jacqui:

I specialize in working with children, adolescents and adults who experience relationship issues, substance abuse, trauma, anxiety, depression, displacement, and eating disorders. Within these modalities I integrate spirituality, psychodynamic, experiential, creative mindfulness, dialectical and behavioral approaches to provide the most comprehensive and holistic transformation. It is to develop fortitude in self – courage in the face of adversity – and bring healing, hope, joy, and creativity back into a life worth living and leading.

“I will praise the LORD who counsels me— even at night my heart instructs me. I keep the LORD set in mind always. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” ~ Psalm 16:7-8
